Patients with dental insurance receive out-of-network benefits. Even though our office is out-of-network, we work to ensure patients receive the highest coverage possible under their insurance plans.
Once our office establishes a working relationship with a patient’s insurance carrier, we accept assignment of benefits directly to our office. We think it is a good idea to submit a pre-determination of benefits to your insurance company for more involved dental treatment so we know the patients exact portion before we begin. Patients may opt to leave a credit card on file with the office for balance payment or they can pay this portion at the time of treatment. Patients without dental insurance are asked to pay their balance in full at the end of each visit.
Registered patients in need of emergency dental care during non-office hours should call our office to obtain the emergency contact phone number.
We try to be understanding regarding schedule changes.
We like to be understanding of a true emergency, but our schedule doesn’t allow for a patient who repeatedly cancels appointments:
- We track all cancellations without 24 hour notice.
- Repeated cancellations with less than 24 hour notice are added to our “Short-notice” scheduling list. From this list, we call you to fill our last minute openings. This works well for patients who cannot predict their schedule in advance. Some patients even prefer to be on this list instead of pre-scheduling. Let us know.
- If a patient doesn’t want “short-notice” scheduling and repeatedly cancels, we ask for a $100.00 deposit on your credit card to reserve your next appointment.
